This past weekend I went with some friends up to Belfast in Northern Ireland. Northern Ireland is actually a completely different country than Ireland. It’s still part of the UK, so I can now say I’ve also traveled to the United Kingdom (woohoo)! Northern Ireland has to be one of the most beautiful places I have ever been. I seriously took hundreds of photos in the three days that we were there. I’m going to be doing a lot of posts from my trip, probably four or five to be honest. I just have soooo many pictures and don’t want to have a post with like 50 pictures, so I’m just going to make a few posts talking about each place I visited.
We went on a “Game of Thrones” tour on Saturday which I have been dying to do since I’ve moved here. I’ve been a big fan of the show for a while now, and because most of it is actually filmed in Northern Ireland I wanted to make sure I did it while I was living here.
This was one of the stops along the Causeway Coastal Route. We walked down this little winding road to find the most beautiful beach ever! This was the first time I’d seen the ocean since I arrived in Ireland, so I was so giddy and was seriously skipping along the beach so excited! Of course I wasn’t about to jump into the water and go for a swim, but the coast here is without a doubt one of the most beautiful things I’ve ever seen. We stayed here for about 45 minutes, but I probably could have spent hours here just exploring and taking pictures!
So this was only a little part of my trip to Northern Ireland. I still have so many pictures that I will be uploading on the blog here soon, so stay tuned! I just can’t get over the fact that I’ve seen all these places with my own eyes. The pictures do it absolutely no justice! I love being able to share all of these moments with you guys, but I sure wish you could see it like I do. Thanks for following along:)
