Game of Thrones Tour

One of the things I made sure I did before I left Ireland was to go on a Game of Thrones tour. I’m a big fan of the show, and a majority of it is actually filmed in Northern Ireland. So when I planned a trip to Belfast, it was entirely around this tour. We went with this tour, and I am convinced I picked the best one ever! It was seriously so amazing! Our tour guide was so hilarious and was such a fun person to be around, which was great because the tour was about nine hours long. I got to see so many places where scenes in the show were filmed. I won’t talk a whole bunch about it, but I’ll just say it was the best tour I’ve ever been on!img_0956

These stairs were from a scene in the show, so it was pretty cool to be standing on them (also scary because they were so slick hah)!

This was a photo that I took by accident but I decided to put it in here because even the rocks here were so beautiful! They were all different hues of grey and pink and it was so pretty!

This door was made out of one of the Dark Hedges that had fallen during a storm. The Dark Hedges play a big part in Game of Thrones, so when two trees ended up falling down, they made doors out of them and put them in pubs across Northern Ireland. This little pub was one of them!

Of course I had to get a photo sitting in this infamous throne! Ugh I seriously LOVED this tour so much!

So, to all you Game of Thrones fans out there, head on over for a visit, and I will gladly go on this tour again! Until then…

Love, Kaite.
