The Best Week

This week was the best week! I got back from Amsterdam Saturday night (new post coming on that soon!), and on Sunday I had a picnic with some friends by the river. It’s been really hot in Ireland the past week (yes I consider high 70’s hot now hah), so I’ve been spending loads of time outside in the sun and I’m loving it! There’s a really great pub in Navan called the Bru House, and after our picnic we went there and just chatted for hours! My friend Yaiza is moving back home this weekend, so we’ve been trying to squeeze in as much time as we can before she leaves! Continue reading “The Best Week”

Wicklow Mountains

Hello again from Ireland! I’ve been so bad lately about accidentally posting unfinished posts! I usually throw together all the photos and plan to write something later on, but recently I’ve been scheduling all my posts so I stay on top of it! Turns out I was sick the entire week and I totally forgot to push back all the scheduled posts a few days. So…if you are wondering why they keep showing up and then disappear from the blog, thats why!

Anyways, today I’m sharing a few photos from when I went to the Wicklow Mountians. When I’m not traveling around the rest of Europe on the weekends, I’m usually exploring Ireland! Continue reading “Wicklow Mountains”

Spring Break In Ireland

Back at the beginning of April, my friend Paul (who you may recognize from my New York City post back in November) flew over to Ireland for a few days over his spring break! It was so nice being able to see an old friend and be able to show someone around my new “home”. We had an intense couple of days traveling, Ireland, London, and our last stop Ibiza, Spain, but I’ll get into those in another post.

A Day In Bray

Hey there! Because I’m a little late on so many blog posts, I figured I would just throw this one in the mix and do the rest later this week! This weekend was the first weekend in months that I’ve had at home (in Navan), and it was so nice just getting to chill for a bit and hang out with some friends. I finally tried Kanoodle for the first time on Saturday night and it was the best! Ugh, I just can’t stop thinking about those Kow Soi Noodles, they were seriously sooo good! Weekend Getaway

Have I mentioned how behind I am on blog posts lately? I’m throwing it back to four weekends ago when I took a little trip over to Dun Laoghaire. Dun Laoghaire (pronounced “done leery”) is a little seaside town just south of Dublin. I had originally planned on going to Copenhagen, Denmark during this weekend, but after the stressful time I had getting home from Italy the weekend before, I just wanted to take a little break from airports! My friend Celine and I found a last minute deal at the Royal Marine Hotel, so we decided to head there for a couple days! The hotel had a big pool, jacuzzi, a sauna, and a steam room, and it was seriously the BEST! Nothing beats a relaxing weekend by the sea… Continue reading “Weekend Getaway”

Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge

I think I must have taken over 500 pictures while I was in Northern Ireland! And although I keep getting that dreadful “storage full” notification on my phone, I refuse to let these photos be the victim. I mean seriously, look at how beautiful this place is! This was one of the stops on our Game of Thrones tour and I think we spent a little over an hour here. I honestly could have spent an entire day here just taking in the views! This little spot is where the Carrick-a-Rede rope bridge is. It’s a must see if your ever in Northern Ireland! Continue reading “Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge”

Game of Thrones Tour

One of the things I made sure I did before I left Ireland was to go on a Game of Thrones tour. I’m a big fan of the show, and a majority of it is actually filmed in Northern Ireland. So when I planned a trip to Belfast, it was entirely around this tour. We went with this tour, and I am convinced I picked the best one ever! It was seriously so amazing! Our tour guide was so hilarious and was such a fun person to be around, which was great because the tour was about nine hours long. I got to see so many places where scenes in the show were filmed. I won’t talk a whole bunch about it, but I’ll just say it was the best tour I’ve ever been on! Continue reading “Game of Thrones Tour”

Belfast For The Weekend

Gosh I am so bad at putting blog posts off for days and days! Just trying to play a little catch up because I have so many things I want to share from my weekend in Northern Ireland! We got into to Belfast on Friday evening and picked up some food at a supermarket for our breakfast the next morning. We stayed at this airbnb while in Belfast, and it was so great! I swear Airbnb’s are the best way to go when traveling. They are super popular here in Europe and I’ve found it to be the best way to travel on a budget while also staying in a nice place.

We spent all day Saturday on a Game of Thrones tour (which was sooo amazing), and decided to explore the city of Belfast a little on Sunday. Continue reading “Belfast For The Weekend”

Exploring Northern Ireland

This past weekend I went with some friends up to Belfast in Northern Ireland. Northern Ireland is actually a completely different country than Ireland. It’s still part of the UK, so I can now say I’ve also traveled to the United Kingdom (woohoo)! Northern Ireland has to be one of the most beautiful places I have ever been. I seriously took hundreds of photos in the three days that we were there. I’m going to be doing a lot of posts from my trip, probably four or five to be honest. I just have soooo many pictures and don’t want to have a post with like 50 pictures, so I’m just going to make a few posts talking about each place I visited.
